In the beginning stages of my journey photographing male subjects, a fellow artist cautioned that incorporating full frontal nudity would relegate my work to the fringes, barring it from gallery walls and eroding my credibility as a photographer. Such admonitions, however, only ignited my resolve to challenge the status quo. Defiantly, I crafted an intimate series of close-up studies on male anatomy, which boldly found its place in a prestigious gallery within Denver's vibrant Santa Fe Art District.
Building upon this audacious debut, my practice evolved into a dedicated exploration of the male nude, aimed at dismantling entrenched stigmas while celebrating the unfiltered splendor of the human form. Through these images, I invite viewers to encounter the subjects not merely as figures, but as the extraordinary individuals I had the privilege to collaborate with—revealing the profound beauty that radiates from within and without.

WHAT’S WITH THE FIG LEAVES!!!
In culture, a "fig leaf" is a literal or figurative method of obscuring an act or object considered embarrassing or distasteful with something of innocuous appearance. In an era of evolving artistic expression, one might anticipate that the outdated stigma surrounding the male nude would have faded into obscurity. Yet, it seems my advocacy efforts are far from complete. Over the past few years, I've observed a regrettable regression with my longstanding YouTube channel, which has been active for 14 years, abruptly terminated, and my creations purged from platforms ostensibly dedicated to artistic liberty and innovation. Consequently, I've adopted a more discerning approach to sharing uncensored iterations of my work, even on my personal website. I remain in pursuit of an ideal venue to unveil my complete portfolio—watch this space for developments!
